These Terms apply to all workshops and training services provided by Pendragon Educational Publishers Ltd, trading as Team Liftoffs (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By registering for a workshop, you agree to these Terms.
1. Bookings and Payments
- Booking is confirmed once you receive an email confirmation from us.
- Payment is required upfront, unless agreed otherwise via business purchase order.
- We accept payment via third-party processors such as Gumroad or 2Checkout.
- Prices may include VAT where applicable.
2. Cancellations and Refunds
- You may cancel and receive a full refund if you notify us at least 14 days before the workshop starts.
- Cancellations made within 14 days of the event are non-refundable.
- You may transfer your place to someone else at no cost—just let us know in advance.
- If you’d like to transfer to a future date, contact us at least 7 days before the original session. We’ll do our best to accommodate, subject to availability.
3. Delivery, Platforms & Requirements
- Our workshops are currently delivered online using Microsoft Teams and Miro.
- You are responsible for ensuring you have access to the required platforms and a stable internet connection.
- We may offer in-person or private workshops by arrangement.
4. Our Right to Reschedule or Cancel
- We may cancel or reschedule a workshop due to unforeseen circumstances or insufficient registrations.
- If we do, you’ll be offered:
- A full refund, or
- A place on a future date, or
- Credit toward another workshop
- We aim to provide at least 14 days’ notice, wherever possible.
5. In-House Workshops and Custom Offers
- For bespoke team workshops or organisational bookings, separate terms (e.g. deposits, venue, scope) may apply. These will be discussed and confirmed directly with the client.
6. Content and Intellectual Property
- All materials—handouts, templates, and exercises—are the intellectual property of Team Liftoffs.
- Templates available via Miroverse may be used freely, but other materials are for personal use only and may not be copied, shared, or sold.
- Recordings are only provided for private clients under special arrangements.
7. Trademarks and Third-Party Tools
- We reference platforms and tools such as Miro and Microsoft Teams. These are trademarks of their respective owners, and we make no claim of affiliation or endorsement unless stated.
8. Conduct and Participation
- We expect all participants to contribute respectfully. In rare cases of disruptive behaviour, we reserve the right to remove a participant without refund.
9. Liability and Outcomes
- Our workshops are designed to provide useful tools and methods, but we do not guarantee specific outcomes.
- Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the workshop.
10. Force Majeure
- We are not liable for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond our control (e.g., illness, strikes, platform outages). In such cases, we will aim to resume or reschedule the workshop promptly.
11. Data and Privacy
- We collect your name and email for registration and logistics.
- You may optionally opt into updates or our newsletter.
- We use trusted third-party services (e.g., Stripe, Gumroad, CRM) to process payments and communications. See our Privacy Policy for details.
12. Disputes and Governing Law
- If something’s not right, please get in touch—we’ll do our best to sort things quickly and informally.
- If necessary, disputes will be governed by English law and subject to the courts of England and Wales.
13. Validity of Terms
- If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
